How to open command prompt at any location in Windows 7

The command window is very essential to performing various system tasks. Sometimes however, we wish to open a command prompt at a specific location, instead of opening the general command prompt and then giving the required path.

The path may be unknown or too long. This tutorial demonstrates how to open a command prompt window at any location in Windows 7.

Go to the location where you want to open the command prompt window. (e.g. the Desktop)
Press the Shift key and right-click simultaneously. This menu has the option “Open command window here”. Click on it and you are good to go..

The same thing can be done when right-clicking on a folder also.

List of Really Useful Facebook Shortcuts ( TIPS 4 FaceBook )

Most of us have an account on Facebook. Productivity Gurus keep telling us that Facebook and Twitter are a waste of time, but we still keep going there to socialize with our online buddies.

So, if you are going to use Facebook anyway, why not use keyboard shortcuts to save some time. Here’s a list of very useful Facebook shortcuts.

Alt+M Send a New Message by opening the Send Message dialog box

Alt+/   Move cursor to the search box at top

Alt+1  Go back to home page

Alt+2  Go to your profile page

Alt+3  Accept/Deny a friend request

Alt+4  Go to messages page

Alt+5  Open notifications tab at top

Alt+6  Go to account settings page

Alt+7  Go to privacy settings page

Alt+8  Open the fan page for Facebook, http://www.facebook.com/facebook. I know its not very useful
butwe are all fans of Facebook here :)

Note that there is no need to press the + key while using the shortcut. The + symbol signifies that you must press the two other two keys simultaneously. Also, if you are using Firefox web browser, then you must use the Shift key instead of the Alt key.

Even after the virus is totally removed from the system, some users find it difficult to restore all those things back which were affected by the virus. A virus usually when enters into a system disables the registry editor and task manager so that the user can not remove the virus from the system.

Here is a free tool Re-Enable using which even a novice users can fix all the things which were disabled by the virus. An antivirus can remove the virus files but sometimes it may fail to restore the system settings. In such situations this tool can come handy.

Check if Someone Else is Using Your Facebook Account? (New Tips)

Notice some suspicious activity on your wall? Well there some simple security settings built into Facebook – some of these settings are new while others have been around for some time – that should help you quickly detect if any other person is secretly logging into and using your Facebook account.

Go to Facebook.com -> Account -> Account Settings -> Account Security. Here you’ll see a list of all computers and mobile devices that have logged into your Facebook account and when. You can also see the approximate geographic location of the device, based on the IP address, that was used to access your Facebook account.

If you come across an unknown device / location in the list, say you are Mac user and the device listed is IE on Windows, just click the corresponding “end activity” link and it should immediately log you out from that machine.
For extra safety, you may also choose to receive email and SMS alerts if someone else tries to log into your Facebook account from a previously unknown computer or mobile phone. (I wish Google could bring such a feature to Gmail as well).
